Fish-AI has joined forces with OH-BOOST, a project Funded by the European Union through HORIZON Coordination and Support Actions with the aim to “Boosting the One Health Research Excellence and Management Capacity of the Estonian University of Life Science”.
Following the participation to the OH-Boost Symposium 2023 in Tartu, Estonia, Fish-AI researchers at the University of Milan began to explore possible applications of the in vitro fish intestine platform for investigating the pathways used by microplastics found in fish feed to cross the intestinal epithelial barrier.
The results will be presented at the next EAS conference in Vienna. Collaborations with scientists of Estonian University of Life Science specialised in extracellular vesicles biology will further enhance the synergy between the teams
